Prepare 2 Kg Potatoes peeled and quartered
Prepare 10 Tbsp Butter cut into pieces

Prepare 1 1/2 Cups Full Cream Milk

Instructions to make Garlic Mashed Potatoes:
Rinse the potatoes under cold running water and drain thoroughly.
Melt 4Tbsp of butter in a heavy bottomed pot over medium heat. Cook the garlic a sugar stirring often until sticky and lightly browned, 3-4 minutes.
Add the rinsed potatoes, 1 1/4 cups of milk, water and 1tsp salt to the pot and stir to combine. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally until the potatoes are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed, 25 to 30 minutes.
Off heat, add remaining butter to pot and mash the potatoes until smooth. Fold in the remaining milk until the liquid is absorbed and the potatoes are creamy. Enjoy.
